Founded in August 2024, Reach for Each uses a comprehensive and multi-pronged approach to address the gap in healthcare access for these workers. The project combines preventative healthcare, awareness campaigns, and the distribution of resources to provide direct support to these groups. The project aims to create a lasting impact and to truly empower vulnerable and underserved groups.
The key elements of the project include the Reach Dialogues, which is a podcast series featuring discussions on systemic inequality in India, including healthcare gaps, lack of legal protections, and financial exclusion; the Reach Leaflets, a series of pamphlets in Hindi that will provide details and information about government healthcare schemes such as Delhi Arogya Kosh and AB-Pradhan Jan Arogya Yojana; and the Reach Repository, an open-access database of free or affordable healthcare clinics in Delhi to help communities in need. Furthermore, we plan to launch an online crowdfunding campaign to donate preventive health kits to outdoor workers, and also organize a health camp for free screenings.
